Events well-suited for the Hudson House upstairs include Christmas/holiday parties, birthdays, anniversaries, wedding or baby showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, even weddings. The large, open setting has a platform at the front end — once the Judge’s bench, in Village Hall days — that makes a nice dais or dance floor. The antique oak bar once resided in the Astor Hotel in New York City, and we still make good use of the old village safe, now a home for supplies behind the bar.
